HAPPINESS IN A NUTSHELL
When you’ve already gone through it twice and there‘s still one left.

I really had trouble falling asleep last night. I just got used to the music and singing from the last couple of nights when it was completely and unexpected quiet yesterday evening.
The stormy wind, we had gales up to 50 knots, died slowly down to a gentle breeze. I think everybody went to bed early.
So I just lay there, wide awake, counting fish jumping on a hook. Which sometimes works because you have to wait so long before one finally bites. Then without any warning the fish started singing.
First gently but later on all together, ‘heeeeeeheheeeeeey baby, hu ha, i wanna knoooohohohooooohhoow if you be my girl, huu haaa’.
I haven’t heard all the other songs anymore. I immediately fell asleep like Sleeping Beauty.
And don’t forget to put on the volume!
And I still remember every day of the last week. I’m even sensing some romance in the air. But no worries, the rain will probably flush that away pretty quickly.
So far there’s absolutely no dull moment in the anthill-like guestharbor Södra hamnen. Maybe everybody is getting nervous about the rain and wind to come the next days. Or maybe it’s normal in summer. I don’t know, we’re not goiing anywhere.
I love those old factory halls and cranes.
Yes, my list might indeed deviate slightly from most lists. But I also keep track of everything and today I was able to cross something of my list. I’m not sure on which number in the list it was, but I can tell you it was a tricky one. I combined three different events under one subject.
First there were like a thousand other people in the middle of the little center at a ‘cosy’ flea market, like three ‘happy’ wedding ceremonies in front of a church and other historic buildings and the terraces were overloaded with even more ‘cheerful’ people. It was so overwhelming that I almost started to cry because I knew this subject on my wet dream list was really a hard one.
Now I’m considering to visit the beautiful ‘Gamlebyen’ again tomorrow. There’s a 79% chance of rain and again it may happen that I can cross something off again. I’m so nervous I hope I can sleep tonight.
