‘Minke whale on our port side‘! Everyone is running towards the stern to have a proper look at this beautiful whale.

BANG BANG BANG
Yesterday we did some shooting practice. The main goal is to protect yourself and people around you in case of a polarbear attack. Last week a bear was shot some miles north of Longyearbyen. Sad, but not for no reason.
It was my first time shooting with this kaliber (30-06 Springfield) . But it sure was educational and fun. I had some troubles shooting three bullets within 10 seconds, but the aiming wasn’t bad at all 😉

Yesterday we had an amazing tour through the Hornsund fjord. Today again is already awesome with sunny and calm weather. And I almost forgot, pancakes for lunch 😉
