SAY HI TO SVALBARD
WHAT THE FOG
Two days ago we left the Norwegian Coast. The first one hundred miles it were a bit bumpy, but it’s all fine now. Some hours ago we passed Bjørnoya but unfortunately it was quite foggy. Tomorrow morning we’ll probably enter the Hornsund fjord. Which is definitely going to be exciting.
TROMSØ
Tomorrow we’ll sign on and tuesday we’re leaving for Longyearbyen on Svalbard with the Ocean-Sherpa. I let you know as soon as we get near land or something like that 😉
And of course I’m going to tell you all about the trip and the things we’re going to do on Spitsbergen.
I CAN’T SEE IT
Look at this cool dashboard. Looks like it’s fun to play with. But what is it? Can you see it?
DUTCH DONUTS
But I prefer the straight forward and easy translation, ‘grease balls’! Sieb’s Balls are really great. Yesterday morning we were too early, but you could smell this delicious air coming underneath the hatch. I think that if you keep your nose close to the screen you can still smell them. Just lovely.
THICK OLD TREES
Next time I’m in back in that shop again, I’m going to buy this book about thick old trees.
Yes, I’m bored. The last couple of days I’m out of air. Don’t feel like doing a lot. Even though there’s enough to do in our futured new home. May be I need a little break to read all about trees, thick old trees, that is.
