DUELFIE XVIII – XIX – XX



Walking through the streets of Prague I knew something extra ordinary happened following the ‘Prague Spring’, but I couldn’t figure it out at the moment. After diving into history I found what I was looking for and also found this memorial the next day, Jan Palach.
On Wikipedia you can read the whole story about these, without a doubt precious, jewellery. The only thing that worried me today was the cold low temperature. My own crown jewels almost froze off.
The trigger was the name of the German city Tittmoning. I know, it’s childish but come on. So we stopped a couple of kilometers further for the night. Near the city of Burghausen. There’s no fun in that name but it didn’t stop me repeating the beautiful name ‘Tittmoning’ all the way. We had a nice walk around the lake and the Burghausen Castle and Old City. It seemed we just missed Napoleon, who stayed here in the castle for a couple of days, just a few years ago. Too bad, I wonder whats his thoughts would be about ‘Titt………..
