Last weekend Eugene invited me to go and visit the yearly ‘Öppet Varv’ boat show in Ellös on the holy grounds of the Hallberg-Rassy wharf.
Please ask me if you want know more about this little ‘Hiswa’ event, because I wouldn’t know where to start. Even without all of Eugene’s comments.

The Koster Islands at the Swedish westcoast are a very nice place to visit for at least a couple of days. If you forget about the rocks and stones and the Norwegian and Swedish visitors it’s just like home. But then different 😉
And even if you’re not a big fan of nature and beautiful views you surely will love the little bar/restaurant/souveniershop on North Koster.

So far there’s absolutely no dull moment in the anthill-like guestharbor Södra hamnen. Maybe everybody is getting nervous about the rain and wind to come the next days. Or maybe it’s normal in summer. I don’t know, we’re not goiing anywhere.
