The sun barely rises in the morning, it is raining or snowing during daytime. The darkness starts hitting us from about two o clock in the afternoon.
Hell, we love it here!
BACK IN TROMSØ
The snow in the city is melting, but there’s still powder on the mountains.
Tomorrow we leave the harbour in search for whales and darkness. Hopefully we also get some clear nights to see the Northern Lights.
MAKING PLANS
There’s a lot going on the next couple of weeks. So we’re really busy trying to sort things out to hopefully make it all happen. But then there’s always Bertold Brecht’s quote.
“Ja, mach nur einen Plan! Sei nur ein großes Licht! Und mach dann noch ’nen zweiten Plan, gehn tun sie beide nicht.”
TROMSØ
Tomorrow we’ll sign on and tuesday we’re leaving for Longyearbyen on Svalbard with the Ocean-Sherpa. I let you know as soon as we get near land or something like that 😉
And of course I’m going to tell you all about the trip and the things we’re going to do on Spitsbergen.
